Early on this year one of our favorite record labels Freestyle Records signed Courtney Pine.  We support Greg Boraman the A&R man at Freestlye Records as we feel this is a great combination.

When you was to listen Courtney Pine music you will find that this British self-taught jazz musician who’s career spans over 30 years.  Courtney Pine is a talented saxophonist that can also play flute, clarinet, bass clarinet and keys, his style bring together jazz that integrates reggae, Caribbean sounds, hip-hop.   In his career he has revived awards in 1996 & 1997 MOBO for best jazz act; 1999 People’s Choice best British jazz act for blues and soul; 2000 OBE and  CBE in 2009 New Year Honours for services to jazz music.  In the 1980’s he was key to foundering the all black British band Jazz Warriors.
